What is the “Keeping Kids Safe & Secure” levy?

The Target Range School District has placed a 5 year School Building Reserve Levy for $850,000 on the March 27, 2012 ballot. This levy will replace a levy and a bond that expired earlier this summer.
What is a "Building Reserve"? Building reserves are the District's main funding source for repair and maintenance of district buildings, thus keeping our children safe and insuring the best learning environment possible. It will continue to bridge the gap between what the state provides and what the parents in Target Range expect for our kids.
How much will it cost? The levy will cost $29.47 on a property with an assessed value of $100,000, and $59.93 on a property with an assessed value of $200,000. Use the calculator to see exactly how much it will cost.
